Crow-Barred

The poet keeps his words thick and barred
God forbid someone knows
On this evening a crow landed on the fence to feed
He observed with his legs twisted and the skin of his eyes flaking each blink The sentry tore into the stomach meat
Pen pressed to the slope
Seeing intensely all the sweeps and wilder beasts in the trees Heartbeat measured breaths
The animal balances its act
A savage to watch it curiously
It must be, to be watching
Its obvious clearly
It spotted the creature and wrapped its mouth with his harvest Fleeing quickly to the scarecrows defaced
Becomes a silhouette and drowns by the sun until completely gone Ridiculously idiotic
Simple
Stupid
Meaningless
You’re interested in only something that doesn't exist
Jesus christ
You are all the same
Let it live in peace without your needs
It won't speak, you do
Please, the banality

Grabs his glass and warms his breathe while the sun is dismissed Ah
That's it
Very clever
The crows are always the cleverest
Unlike the rest
I think they’re doing what I do when I inspect
You perspicacious pest
Truly wasteless
